Placing a Custom Order is a 2-Part process:
1. Fill out a Custom Order Inquiry Form, found on Customs home page. Complete inquiry form at least 14 days in advance. We are not doing in-person appointments at this time.
2. Please allow us to contact you within 3-5 business days to finalize order via phone or email and to receive payment. All final details and payment are due 7 business days prior to pick-up date. If payment and details are not confirmed 7 business days prior to pick-up date, the order will not be completed.
3. Pick-up your order! Pick-up is available during our regular hours. We do ask for pick-ups to be made on Fridays and Saturdays however, we may allow orders to be picked up earlier in the week. During final communication, please confirm pick-up date and time.
*During peak wedding season, we are often very limited on availability and may even have weeks blacked out. Please be considerate of us contacting you during that time.
No, we require payment upon placing order. We ask that we receive full payment at least 7 business days before pick-up, though we recommend paying earlier to guarantee your order to be made. During peak months of March - October, we are often very limited to availability and require placing and paying for your order at least 3-4 weeks or more in advance. We often have weeks blacked out due to being completely booked.
Our priority is with paid orders, once we reach full capacity, we can no longer take any other order. This new policy was executed as of 03/2022 to avoid any issues or mistakes that prevent us from providing you with the best experience. Payment can be made over the phone or in person (cash or card), or by an online invoice.
We encourage you to start the ordering process 3-4 weeks in advance, earlier in peak wedding season (April-October). We do provide delivery if an order qualifies as a $400 minimum purchase and is within our delivery range. There will be a custom delivery charge starting at $100.

Yes! When you complete a Custom Order Inquiry Form you will see a location to attach up to 2 photos. Please include in the design details what elements of each image you like so we know what to look for in the cake designs.
We will be in contact with you within 2-3 business days upon receiving your completed inquiry form.
On our Custom Flavors/Pricing page you will see our base starting price for each item. For Dessert Items, please see the Dessert Bar page under custom tab. These base prices start with a simple design for those items that require a design. Final cost will be given once details and designs are received.
Designs for cakes vary and the time put in to those designs vary as well which doesn't allow us to create a general pricing list. Once we understand what you are looking for with the design, we will be able to give you more specific pricing.
We do have minimums for cupcakes, decorated sugar cookies, and dessert items. Please see Custom pages for further details and minimums for each item.
Changes can only be made 7 business days prior to order pick-up date. If it is a change to location of delivery details, please contact us via email or phone.
Cancelling an order can be made up until 7 business days prior to pick-up date, in which you would receive store credit or move your cake to a new pick-up date. For full refund, cancellation of order will need to be made 10 business days prior to pick-up date.
We request for cakes to be kept in the refrigerator until about an hour or two for absolute freshness and proper slicing conditions of cake. Cupcakes need to be kept in refrigerator as well for maximum freshness and if containing a filling or cream cheese.
Decorated sugar cookies come boxed and are safe to keep boxed for up to 4 days after pick-up. They are better consumed upon day of pick-up.
Dessert items storage is dependent upon item and at pick-up we will give you storing advice.
The first step is gauging how many guests you will have attending your event and if you want to have cake left over.
We typically suggest getting 10 servings more than the number of guests attending due to the fact that people often want seconds of our cake.
So, if you are expecting a party for 10 people, we recommend purchasing a cake or dessert items to serve 10-20 people.
Yes and no.
We do have Gluten Free options available for some of our cake flavors, all of our fillings except Oreo Mousse, and all of our icings. Please see any of the Flavor pages to see the specific GF flavors.
Most of our cakes and fillings do not contain nuts, however we do have a few options which do. Therefore making us not a nut-free kitchen and cannot guarantee there will be no cross contamination. We will however, try our best and have not had issues in the past.
We do not currently carry vegan or dairy-free options at this time. We are sorry for the inconvienence. We are happy to recommend other bakeries that do have these as options.
To complete a Custom Order Inquiry Form you will be required to agree with our ordering and payment process. We require payment 7 business days prior to pick-up. If you do not agree with this an inquiry form will not be submitted and you will not be contacted. We created this policy to ensure prioritization of orders, time-management, and communication.
